This page incorporates all items necessary to make your own decorative handle pull. Various tubing designs, brackets, end caps ,finials and finishes are available to assemble in to your dream piece of hardware. All tubing, brackets and caps are made out of brass. Select each item, choose a size, decide on a finish, choose assembled or unassembled and "voila"!!.
Step ( 1 ) One.
Choose a decorative tube design and tube diameter :
Design Smooth- more contemporary in design, easy to clean. Rope- more traditional in design, slightly more difficult to clean, but not deeply groved. Reed- Can be used in both traditional and contemporary. More difficult to clean due to the deeper recesses.
Tube Diameters 1"- Appropriate size for appliance pulls, shower door pulls, furniture, some large kitchen cabinets and smaller doors.
1 3/16"- Appropriate for medium to larger doors, long appliances, tall shower doors, and any area where an important piece is called for.
1" and 1 3/16" Tubing Available in Smooth, Rope and Reeded.

Step ( 2 ) Two:
Choose an over all length of tube:
Kitchen cabinets: 6"-12" Furniture: 6"-24" Appliances:-12"-30" Shower doors: 9"-24" Front and Entry doors: 18"-30"

Step ( 3 ) Three:
Add Brackets in a specific finish. Decide what center to center measurement they will be placed.
We Suggest: 6" C/C for shower doors 8" C/C for shower doors 3" off each edge on center. Holes can be placed anywhere along the tube length.

Threading is 3/8-16 and can be reduced to 1/4-20
Oil Rubbed Bronze Bracket has the radiused front to wrap around both tube diameters.
Step ( 4 ) Four:
Add a 1" or 1 3/16" cap.
No Hole: To give your pull a clean, finished look. OR With Hole: Choose this to be able to add finials to your pull.

Step ( 5 ) Five:
Add a Pair of Finials if Desired.
Usually placed on both sides of pull for balance. One can be ordered if desired. Finials can be mixed on a pull.
1/2" Ball- Tends to be more towards the contemporary ( modern ) . 1" Ball- As above but more of a statement. 1 1/4" Urn- adds a traditional touch to your pull. Watch out for children if used on bottom.!! Tassel 1 5/8"H x 3/4" W - Traditional addition. Use on both sides or bottom only with urn or ball on top. Bullet- 1 1/4" H x 5/8"W - Your choice on style.

Assembly Charge

Back To Back Mount Charge
If you want two ( 2 ) pulls mounted together, please order a pull with threaded brackets and one with set screw brackets and order the B/B Charge which will include mounting hardware to marry the ( 2) pulls together. Please supply the door thickness and type of door. ( i.e. glass, wood) 1-Pair ( two pulls together) back/back charge $20.00
Mounting Screws
We will supply 1 pair of 3/8-16 ( 3/8" diameter x 1 1/4" Long ) through the door mounting screws with each door pull order, No Charge. Shorter screws from 1/2" to longer (3 1/2" ) are available no charge , if requested during confirmation process. Sorry, but if any screws are needed after shipping , a UPS charge will be billed. Back to Back mounting hardware is available for an additional charge of $20.00 / per pull. Screw covers ( cover and decorate the head of the phillips head screw ) are available to match the standard finishes for a charge of $10.00 / Pair.

Warranty and Maintenance: Please be aware that these products are made mostly from brass. Brass and plated finishes must be maintained by waxing and wiping with products such as car wax ( meguiars) or a paste wax ( butchers) to maintain the finish life. You should do this as if it was a car. We suggest you wax every month or two, and certainly once a month if used outdoors. Custom Made Door Hardware.Com offers a one year limited warranty on all stock finishes as long as the maintenance we suggest here, is adhered to.
